Here’s how to see all your Gmail labels (your “folders”):
On Desktop (Web Browser)
-
Open Gmail.
-
Look at the left sidebar. You’ll see some labels like Inbox, Starred, Sent, etc.
-
Scroll down and click “More” to expand the full list.
-
You’ll now see all labels, including nested ones.
-
If you want to manage them, scroll down and click “Manage labels” (or go to Settings → Labels).
-
Here you can show/hide labels in the list or in message view, delete them, or create new ones.
-
On Mobile App (iOS/Android)
-
Open Gmail app.
-
Tap the three-line menu (☰) at the top left.
-
Scroll down to Labels — all your labels appear here.
-
Tap a label to see its emails.
-
To edit labels, you’ll need to do it from a desktop browser — the app can’t create or delete labels.
💡 Tip: You can customize which labels appear in your sidebar vs hidden under “More,” so your most-used labels feel like real folders.
